North Star is a is a company with a team of experts that specializes in Yachting and Real Estate. With headquarters in Croatia and Spain we deal in yacht ownership and operation as well as finding the perfect home in the most idyllic of settings. Our offices are located in Hvar and Palma de Mallorca, two islands with a strong nautical history, high standard of living and the places you go for the sun and sea to soothe your spirit.
We are dedicated to what we do and passionate about how we do it. Our team spirit is based on a mutual love of yachting and an in-depth knowledge of the property market in the areas where we operate; so, whether you are looking to find the house of your dreams or are searching for the perfect yacht to take you into the sunset, we are here to support, advise and assist you in every way.
HISTORY
The company was founded by Teo Simeon, a nautical genius that some refer to as the ultimate yacht doctor. From the bare basics of constructing a vessel to the complexities of correctly marketing your yacht, he is the go-to guy. After working for Beneteau, he started one of the first independent brokerage and charter companies during the 80´s in Croatia and then moved on to establish North Star Yachting in the nautical hotspot of Palma de Mallorca. With the help of his wife and charter agent Jasmina Nedeljkovic, they ran one of the most successful family businesses on the island for the past 30 years.
THE NEXT GENERATION
With a solid foundation and many satisfied customers throughout the years, it was only natural for the next generation to take over. Robert, Dubravko and Mihaela are the young, motivated and experienced team members of todays company. They have uncompromisingly taken over the helm of North Star and adjusted the course, making sure that company meets the requirements and standards of today’s life and demands, while at the same time remains true to its values.
